Two Courts, One Incredible Cause: Our Charity Padel Tournament for ME & DEE
At Rhodes Wealth Management, we're passionate about supporting the communities around us and giving back to causes that make a real difference. That's why we were proud to host our 12-Hour Charity Padel Tournament in aid of the fantastic ME & DEE charity on 30th July 2026.
The event brought together colleagues, clients, friends and members of the local community for a day packed with energy, teamwork and fundraising. With two courts in action throughout the day, there was a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish as players stepped onto the court, supporters cheered from the sidelines and everyone came together to support a truly worthwhile cause.
Supporting a Charity That Changes Lives
ME & DEE is a remarkable charity that provides respite breaks and special experiences for families facing incredibly difficult circumstances, particularly those with children living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
Through the experiences they create, families are given the opportunity to spend precious time together, make lasting memories and enjoy moments of joy during some of life's toughest challenges.
Their work has a profound impact on the families they support, and we were honoured to help raise awareness and funds to support their mission.
A Day of Determination and Community
At the heart of the event were Tom and Josh, who took on the impressive challenge of playing padel for 12 hours. Their commitment, determination and enthusiasm helped drive the event forward, with participants joining throughout the day across both courts to keep the action going. The challenge was no small feat, but the support from everyone involved kept the energy high from the first serve to the final point.
While there was certainly plenty of competitive spirit on display, the day was about much more than sport. It was about bringing people together, building connections and making a positive difference through a shared commitment to a fantastic cause.
